The first fleeces I invested in came from a flock of Shetland sheep from the Sheiling Croft in the North Highlands of Scotland. This Croft was integral to the start of Flock & Skein.

We buy yarn and fleeces directly from the farm ensuring the Farmers, Crofters and Smallholders receive a fair price for the product. Every process from Farm to Yarn is 100% Ethical & British.

A Member of the Campaign For Wool, the ethos behind Flock & Skein is to be able to provide full provenance from farm to yarn using heritage and rare breed British wool.
