Tregaver Fibre
"I'm Caroline, mostly known as Caz!
I run my both my farm, Tregaver, and my business, Tregaver Fibre, in the beautiful, picturesque Tamar Valley in Cornwall. I have a non slaughter flock of sheep consisting of teeswaters, wensleydales, and some teeswater/wensleydale crosses, and I also have a delightful but somewhat random (due to her fleece type!) Suffolk, Floppy, who I just couldn't resist due to her sweet nature! I also have a small herd of angora goats who are kept solely for their mohair.
My passion for fibre is reflected in my business slogan "Sustainable Fibres, Ethically Farmed!" Animal welfare is at the heart of my business - my vet often says she thinks I have the 'most pampered flock in Cornwall' ! All of my sheep have names, and are friendly, and you'll be able to see which sheep the fibre comes from when you buy a bunch of locks! All of my fibre showcases it's origin - so whether it's from a named sheep in my own flock, or from a farm I've visited, you'll know exactly where your wool comes from."
I'm very excited to announce I have now begun a collaboration with Sally - whose incredible artistic skills and dedication perfectly align with the quality and care put into my wool. I believe we are at the beginning of something great!
