Handcrafted with Love Fibre Sculptures
Crafting bespoke sculptures is my passion and I take care in selecting the right materials for each one. My technique encompasses traditional practices like needle felting, wet felting, sculptural embroidery, cloth doll making, and eco-printing. I frequently incorporate vintage objects into my artwork, as well as natural materials such as sustainably harvested wood and pressed flowers. In this particular piece, you can see a mouse perched on top of a 1930's children's building block!
"Tabatha" is based on my "Bess the Mouse" creation. I made her to celebrate my invite to Buckingham Palace Garden Party during the King's Coronation in 2023. I wrote a little storybook for some very special little girls , you can download it here
