Hello, I’m Sally — a needle felting artist, teacher, and storyteller, originally from Manchester and now happily nestled in the beautiful Lake District.
I create soft, soulful pieces from British wool and natural fibres — and I help women discover the same joy for themselves. My approach is simple, supportive, and full of love. Whether you’re picking up a felting needle for the first time or returning to creativity after years away, you’re warmly welcome here.
Through my on line needle felting courses, workshops, e-books, and Threads of Inspiration blog & podcast, I share the magic of wool: step-by-step techniques, beginner-friendly guides, free downloads, and inspiring projects you can enjoy at your own pace.

Creativity and community are at the heart of what I do. After years of working in charities, coaching, and empowering women, I rediscovered my own creative voice with the support of other brilliant women. That journey brought me home to wool — and showed me how making with our hands can be both joyful and deeply healing.
My hope is that this space encourages you to slow down, try something new, and create pieces that bring both beauty and heart into your life — all while knowing you’re not alone, but part of a supportive community of makers.

My Passion for Sustainable Needle Felting & Fibre Art
As my creative journey unfolded, I combined my coaching and teaching skills with fibre art — and created Sally Bonnie Fibre n Art, a space dedicated to beginner needle felting courses, online workshops, and sustainable fibre art inspiration.
This path has taken me from self-doubt to confidently sharing step-by-step felting techniques through:
